Artist's Description
The River Aare flows through the city of Bern in a horseshoe-shape, part of it is seen here in the foreground. It passes beneath eighteen bridges and around the steeply-flanked peninsula on which the Old City of Berne is located. Bern is the de-facto capital of Switzerland. However, the country does not have an official capital city, so Bern is referred to within Switzerland as the federal city. About Rob Hemphill

Having enjoyed photography for over 30 years, I got my first serious DSLR in 2009. Landscape, nature and travel photography excite me the most, but there's still room for macro photography. My favorite subject is waterfalls, especially in the fall. Capturing great photographs takes a lot of commitment, plenty of resources, a keen eye and most important a love of photography. My photographs are appropriate for home and business use, and suitable for advertising too. If you see something that you like, please Vote for, Favorite, leave a comment, or even Buy an image! To those of you who find something to purchase I would like to show my sincere gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much! Also, thank you for taking the time to view...
