Born and brought up in Kenya, East Africa in a family of nature, wildlife and art lovers, I now find myself very much one of them. On leaving Kenya following its independence in 1963, the family moved to its roots in southern Ireland. Later on I moved to England where I was involved with vineyards and wine, and became a professional winemaker. For 20 years my life was making wine in several countries around the world.
On leaving the wine industry, I wanted to pursue my new passion of photography, and living in a beautiful part of the world, I now enjoy nothing more than getting outdoors and shooting beautiful landscapes or occasionally flowers and insects in macro. Despite often putting up with the soft Irish showers, nothing dampens the photography enthusiasm.
