Artist's Description
While walking back after a most enjoyable morning at Schwabacher's Landing near Jackson Hole in Wyoming I spotted this moose grazing in the river. The sun had risen but the air was still cool.
The Snake River gently meanders beneath the rugged Grand Teton mountains and is a wonderful habitat for animals and birds.
Schwabacher's Landing is located under the Grand Teton Mountains in Wyoming on a calm stretch of the Snake River and is about 16 miles north of Jackson Hole on I-89.
This location is a major photo opportunity spot in Grand Teton National Park. If you're lucky enough you could see coyote, antelope, and deer among the trees - as well as the occasional moose!. And perhaps if you are really really lucky you could catch the sight of an otter in the water or see eagles soaring overhead.

About Rob Hemphill
Having enjoyed photography for over 30 years, I got my first serious DSLR in 2009. I now capture images with a Nikon D850. Landscape, nature and travel photography excite me the most, but there's still room for macro photography. My favorite subject is waterfalls, especially in the fall. Capturing great photographs takes a lot of commitment, plenty of resources, a keen eye and most important a love of photography. My photographs are appropriate for home and business use, and suitable for advertising too. If you see something that you like, please Vote for, Favorite, leave a comment, or even Buy an image! To those of you who find something to purchase I would like to show my sincere gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much! Also,...
