Description
This praying mantis was on the edge of an infinity swimming pool waiting for prey to get caught in the drain system. The location was on the Greek Ionian island of Kefalonia.
These insects are usually so friendly and do not race away but rather remain stationary and seem to relate to the photographic experience. There were plants in the background which provided a soft green bokeh for the image.
