This delicate little Pansy was growing in an Irish garden.
The garden pansy is a type of large-flowered hybrid plant cultivated as a garden flower. It is derived by hybridization from several species in the section Melanium ("the pansies") of the genus Viola, particularly Viola tricolor, a wildflower of Europe and western Asia known as heartsease. Having enjoyed photography for over 30 years, I got my first serious DSLR in 2009. I now capture images with a Nikon D850. To those of you who find something to purchase I would like to show my sincere gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much! Also,...
