A field of sunflowers in front of a lavender field near Valensole, Provence in the south of France.
As you explore the Provence region in search of the beautiful lavender fields, you’ll occasionally come across the fields divided by sunflowers. We went in the first week of July and these sunflowers were well in bloom. They are also usually harvested by mid to the end of July, so we certainly weren’t expecting to find any looking their best!
