Kylemore Abbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920 on the grounds of Kylemore Castle, in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland. The abbey was founded for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium in World War I.
Kylemore Castle was built in 1868 as a private home for the family of Mitchell Henry, a wealthy doctor from London whose family was involved in textile manufacturing in Manchester, England. Having enjoyed photography for over 30 years, I got my first serious DSLR in 2009. I now capture images with a Nikon D850. Landscape, nature and travel photography excite me the most, but there's still room for macro photography. My favorite subject is waterfalls, especially in the fall. My photographs are appropriate for home and business use, and suitable for advertising too. If you see something that you like, please Vote for, Favorite, leave a comment, or even Buy an image! To those of you who find something to purchase I would like to show my sincere gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much! Also,...
