Description

Two young fawns at sunrise near Schwabachers Landing, near Jackson Hole in Wyoming. The still cool morning air ensures calm conditions on this part of the Snake River with animals suddenly appearing.

Schwabacher's Landing is located under the Grand Teton Mountains in Wyoming on a calm stretch of the Snake River and is about 16 miles north of Jackson Hole on I-89.

This general area is a photographers' paradise around the famous Snake River in the Grand Teton National Park. The reflection of the Teton Mountains in the still, flat water of the Snake River is stunning. I was lucky enough to see quite a few animals among the trees and along the water's edge. If you're really really lucky you could even catch the sight of an otter in the water or see eagles soaring overhead.
